Melony Anderson joined the firm in December 2009. She primarily handles civil and commercial litigation matters on behalf of health care providers, as well as individuals and businesses involved in disputes relating to corporate governance.
Melony has appeared on behalf of clients in the Delaware Court of Chancery, the Delaware Superior Court, and the U.S. District Court for the State of Delaware.
Melony provides advice and guidance to clients in connection with employment and independent contractor agreements, joint ventures, asset purchases and other business transactions. In addition, Melony assists clients in establishing new businesses and ventures and provides advice and guidance on entity formation and organization. Melony provides policy review and recommendations for health care providers, including advice regarding best practices.
Melony also assists clients in responding to inquiries from the Delaware Division of Professional Regulation, the Delaware Department of Labor, and the Office of Civil Rights.
Prior to joining Balick & Balick, Melony was a corporate litigator at one of Delaware’s largest law firms.
